NYPD / N 'WHY' PD

In the wake of police violence plaguing the nation, the New York City Police Department created the Neighborhood Policing Program to help improve the way they patrolled the city. Finding common ground was the first step in creating healthy dialogue addressing the increased tensions and polarization with communities of color.
